The Clintons have invaded Mississippi!
The Clinton Campaign has been busy traveling around Mississippi trying to win over voters before the state's primary this Tuesday... and I've been following them around for the last three days.
It's been a great experience for me, and I've racked up on some photos.. though they're not that great.
Going to these rallies wasn't at all what I expected. I saw myself with my press pass walking on the floor and in front of the stage where Bill and Hillary spoke, taking pictures from just about where ever I wanted. Wrooong.
During all three of the events, I was stuck in one section set up for media.. usually on a table with video cameras set up and a few other photographers fighting for what little room was left.
But, regardless, I got some decent pictures that will hopefully enhance my portfolio.
Originally, I was going to be photographing Sen. Obama in Jackson, Miss., but turns out he won't be around until tomorrow afternoon. I'm debating on whether or not I'll be going, but I may try. I've seen Hillary and Bill, might as well go see Obama, too. If anything, I can hear his speech and maybe decide on who to vote for, because honestly... I haven't made up my mind.
Another good thing about going to these rallies is that I ran into some of the same people from different photographers and broadcasters.. so I've did a little networking...told them I was a student and I'd be graduating soon and I'd be looking for a job.. heh.
So yeah. I'll be adding more pictures soon! Let me know what you think :)
